‘Americana’ was the theme at this years’ national paint launch at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

SportSim provided an interactive baseball simulator to support the new product launches of Dulux and Berger.

All of the conference attendees got into the swing of the theme by dressing up in quintessentially American outfits, depicting iconic American individuals, sports teams or symbols. American Presidents, past and present, were also in attendance…with official sightings of Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton. A Donald Trump look-a-like also took to the floor, but he wasn’t the only clown in town…Ronald McDonald stealing the show with a perfect baseball pitch (see picture).

Famous action heroes, as well as some participants dressing up as the Statue of Liberty or walking hotdogs (just bizarre) were highlights, and all added to the atmosphere.

Drawing retailers and wholesalers from across Australia, the event was a big commercial success and the SportSim baseball simulator was not only a major drawcard, with high client engagement, but it also created a great product tie-in for Dulux and Berger paints with in-game branding utilised.
